Autoclaved Aerated Concrete
Long popular in Europe and Scandinavia, autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC) is going mainstream in the U.S., with masonry code acceptance and sustainable properties that include environmentally friendly materials, high R-values, enhanced thermal efficiency and energy saving properties. Other selling points include fire resistance, acoustical properties, design versatility, ease of installation and durability.
